Hi,
I have acquired 3 Digi C/Con 16 boxes and an ISA Acceleport CX card from work.
We used it on an old Unix network. Anyway, I am going to install it on my
shack computer with one box. This will give me 16 additional serial ports. One
of the problems I see is the box uses RJ-45 jacks, so I will have to figure out
a way to adapt the RJ-45 to a serial DB9 jack or the other way around. Has
anybody had any experience with these in the ham shack especially with DX4Win
and Writelog? My shack computer is running Win 2000 Pro. I have already
downloaded the drivers. I would love to hear from you on your comments, good
or bad. Would also like to here what you did to convert from RJ-45 to serial.
