I have upgraded to 6.03 and everything appears to be working (now) except I cannot access the internet from within 6.03 for cluster updates. When I exit 6.03 and start 6.02, 6.02 accesses the internet and seems totally happy. I have all of my preferences set exactly the same in 6.03 and 6.02. Any ideas? Mike, after you upgraded, did you transfer your preferences from 6.02 to 6.03? It sounds like your TNC preference is not set to TCP/IP. 73 - Jim AD1C ===== Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, http://www.ad1c.com PGP Fingerprint: D8E2 3D78 339F A7F1 8C13 1193 B5D1 4FB6 79D1 70DC From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon May 17 13:38:12 2004 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Jim Reisert AD1C) Date: Mon May 17 13:40:21 2004 Subject: [Dx4win] DX4WIN 6.03 In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --- Steve <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Looks like the DX amongst us will probably have to wait for the latter. Steve, thanks for the kind words. In addition to trying to get 6.03 out before Dayton (the last update was a year ago), Paul has been busy at his real job, also in the beta-test stage of a software release. And unlike the 6.02 release, there was no real "discussion group" among the beta testers this time. Maybe the LoTW stuff would have turned out differently, who knows? The bottom line is Paul worked many nights past midnight trying to get 6.03 ready (in order to have something new-and-improved for Dayton), despite his other commitments. It would not surprise me if he is taking some time away from DX4WIN to catch his breath. 73 - Jim AD1C ===== Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, http://www.ad1c.com PGP Fingerprint: D8E2 3D78 339F A7F1 8C13 1193 B5D1 4FB6 79D1 70DC From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon May 17 13:50:27 2004 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Wendell Wyly - W5FL) Date: Mon May 17 13:52:45 2004 Subject: [Dx4win] DX4WIN 6.03 Countries listing problem In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Be sure you have the preferences set on the qso tab to confirmed qso's - card or upload. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Cliff Ahrens Sent: Monday, May 17, 2004 10:31 AM To: Milan G?tter Cc: DX4WIN Reflector Subject: Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN 6.03 Countries listing problem Milan, I've got the same problem here. LoTW gave me two new band/countries for the DXCC Challenge not confirmed by paper cards. The "Reports / DXCC / Listing / Select ALL / ALL modes, ALL" doesn't show a "C" for them, although the "Upl Cnf" flag in the QSO window is "Y". It would be nice to have the LoTW confirmations show up in the Listings as well. Hopefully Paul can add this to the next release.
