No, but we may not have the same computer, operating system, printer, parallel or USB printer connection, or printer driver that you have. Post some more information on the problem you are actually having including error messages and configuration. Paul will need as much information as possible if there is a problem in your configuration.
DX4WIN, like almost every Windows program, for Windows 2000P and Windows XP, has NO direct access to your printer. That is handled by the Windows Operating System and the related printer drivers. I am running Windows XP Pro on an old 1300 Mhz Homebuilt Athlon, through a Local Area Network to My wife's P1000 computer and using print sharing to print QSL labels on a Cannon S600 printer. I just printed a page of 30 labels with DX4WIN 6.037. I then went back and used Custom Label 2 which prints directly on my QSL cards in Landscape Mode. I printed 2 cards. Everything seems to work ok for me. I normally use the EPSON 2000P to print directly on QSL cards because the ink is fade resistant and water proof. I have many old cards printed on ink jets that are quite faded. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Donald Eriksen Sent: Tuesday, May 18, 2004 10:21 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Dx4win] 6.03 woes Great, now I can't print QSL reports with 6.03. I've transferred my Preferences and changed nothing in the printer setup. QSL print recognizes my printer and I show 2 QSLs to print, but I get an "exception" error message no matter what I do. Has anyone else had a print problem? Don W6FFH _______________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win
