Because everyone interprets it as it cannot be used with DX4WIN. Those things to use 2 computers or two COM ports are something I really don't want to mess with. I had COM 1-8 running on a DOS machine when I ran the 3WINKs BBS and the W3INK PBBS. Admittedly it is easier with the PCI cards that can be used now, but it is still a Kludge. The more we say it can't be done, the more folks will believe it.

It states: "For the record >MMTTY is not included in the DX4WIN install software because the AUTHOR >of MMTTY JE3HHT doesn't allow this." While this is technically >correct, there is no need to distribute it with DX4WIN. Why is this a misleading statement on my webpage ? I don't think you understand what it means. How would you feel when you order/buy DX4WIN and sended to you by mail (CDROM) because you don't have internet or modem possibilities ? Wouldn't you be disappointed if the needed plugin for MMTTY is there but not MMTTY software itself ? This is why Paul didn't release DX4WIN with an interface for MMTTY, with PSK31 he didn't had that problem because the auther allows distribution of the PSKCore.dll Greetings Guy ON4AOI _______________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win
