My work around is to mark the QSO with a mode that I don't otherwise use (like "AM") then make a note in the QSO Notes that this was really a CW QSO that was NIL.
At least the spot for CW still shows up that way as "unworked." But what I REALLY wish for is a way to mark the QSO as "ignore for awards" or something like that. I have several entries in my log like this and others that I suspect are busted calls that I'd like to mark as "ignore for awards" until I'm sure the call is valid. This isn't a big deal for all-time-new-ones, but for band-mode awards it's a bigger deal.
