Hi,

Well, I still have the download software on my computer to upgrade to
version to 6.03. However, all other traces of the software are gone, except
for
error message calling for disc number two.

Tell you the truth.

I tried to reload version 5. something and then load 6.03 on top of it. It
didn't work. There's a file out there somewhere on the hard drive called
6.03. I can't find it.

Maybe tomorrow.

All of this started because I couldn't get the 6.03 version to go into
landscape mode to print a log page. A small error which worked out to be a
huge
problem on two computers.

There are lots of simpler logging programs which haven't vexed me as much
over the past five years and 30 years as a ham.

Guess I'll stick with them.

73s,

Rick

Subject: [Dx4win] Wish List: Grids Don't Erase

Greetings all.

Just taking advantage of the 6m opening going on right now and got reminded
of one of the very few aggrevations with DX4Win. That is, every time the
callsign field is populated in the real-time logging mode, the grid gets
erased! Same thing happens if the callsign is changed! Pretty big pain in
the butt if the first thing copied and entered is the grid. Next go round
gets the call and bang, the grid is gone. There may be some time in life
when it is desirable to be unable to enter the grid until after the call is
entered (correctly) but I have not figured out just when that time might be.
If I have something set incorrectly that is causing this, I would certainly
appreciate someone enlightening me.

Oh yeah, add me to the list of folks anxiously awaiting hooks for MMTTY too.

Thanks & 73 de
Mike / W8DN
