I think there are "deleted" prefixes just like there are deleted entities.

You can find more info on the award at:

  http://www.cq-amateur-radio.com/cqworldwidewpxawards.html

"Only current prefixes will be counted toward the WPX Honor Roll standings. A
list of prefixes to be removed from the Honor Roll is available from the WPX
Award Manager for an SASE. Prefixes will be deleted from the Honor Roll listing
two years after they are no longer authorized for use by the governing
authority or by the ITU."

There is a list of deleted prefixes in the DX4WIN directory (maybe the SAVE
directory).

Hi Folks,
I have a question regarding printing cards, but done in such a way as to
confirm each band/each mode contacts on a single card. I am doing this as
there are so many cards to be sent out to the bureau that I prefer to send them
out direct to the bureaus rather than going to ARRL. I am working in a 90k qso
data base.
First of all I have two logs that are combined for K2SIG and WE2F that have
to be split by dates.
Once I have one main log, and two separate logs, I would like to split out
from the separate logs ..lets say all the German QSO's, now print, on one card,
all those tagged qso's but printing each qso , but only each band/ mode qso.
When complete, I would like to reset all the German tags to No, then merge
this modified log back into the log from where it came, then merge the two logs
back into the one main log, and return it to active duty.
The only reason I keep a combined log is award /dxcc purposes.
First can it be done, and secondly can you step me through it.
                                          73, John WE2F

Hello all,

I've just upgraded from 6.02 to 6.03 and all appears to be OK,
except ...

I have the Buckmaster CD data loaded onto my hard drive,
and the call look-up feature worked/works OK in the 6.02
version, but doesn't display an entered call in the 6.03
version.

Am I missing something that's most likely totally obvious?

Subject: [Dx4win] QSL printing
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

I have been a DX4WIN user for years, and have logged many thousands of QSO's
with it. However, until now, I have never attempted to print QSL labels with
the program. I am, in fact, more than four years behind in QSLing.:-(

It's time to catch up! I am using ver. 6.03

Since one must start somewhere, I have chosen as simple a starting point as
possible--a single contest log (2003 CQP) imported from Writelog. There are
only 44 QSL's to 32 individual stations to be printed, and all are direct. I
wish to print both QSL labels and mailing labels.

All QSO's appeared correctly in the Print Preview, but there were two
problems.

The first problem encountered was a non-WYSIWYG printer, whose page image is
a bit small. Not knowing how to adjust focus on an HP G95, I have
compensated for this by use of the Custom1 label selection, modifying
horizontal and vertical pitch of an Avery 5160 label to slightly expand the
page image. (If there is a better method, I would like to know it.)

The second problem is the reason for this message--I am not getting mailing
labels. Since all the QSL's are in response to direct mail--no managers--I
have entered each station callsign into the QSL Manager box in the QSO
window for each QSO, and I have checked Print QSL Managers in the
Intermediate Print Window.

I think the problem lies with my databases. I am using GOWIN Issue 286 and
a several year-old version of RAC,loaded on the hard drive. These display
results when the QSO window is active and F3 is pressed---but the display is
weird. Three windows come up: a GOWIN window with the data, a black DX4WIN
window under it--and a duplicate GOWIN window under that! Closing the black
DX4WIN window also closes the second GOWIN window; closing the top GOWIN
window closes all three.

The entries in the DX4WIN Preferences/Ext Data window are:

Data source: Flying Horse CD ROM
Data directory: C:\RAC
QSL Manager Search/EXE Executable Program:C:\Golist\GoWin.exe
Enabeled box: checked

I would appreciate some help here. Are RAC, GoWin or both damaged, or is
there another issue?

Garry, NI6T
