Hi Jim,
My DX4WIN has been working fine for a couple of months, only had
that long. I've been transfering my written log to it. Lately, when
I've added several QSO's and stop to save them, a habit of mine, I find
out that the DEMO opened up instead of the licensed program. I lose all
my work. Not only is it very frustrating, but it takes hours to
backtrack to figure out what I've lost. Reason for that is, I'm on my
second pass. I logged everything that looked like DX that I needed to
send QSL cards to. Now I'm going back and adding the ones I've missed.
I put a check mark next to the ones in my log that have been transcribed
to DX4WIN. Trying to figure out which are actually missed has turned
into a nightmare. Wish I'd known this before and I'd have used a
different "check mark" for the two operations.
Anyway, WHY DOES it open up in the demo mode sometimes and other times
not? I've gotten to where I check to see if the SAVE & SAVE TO under
FILE are not "grayed out". That is the only way I can tell it's in the
DEMO or Licensed mode.
By the way, I could swear that yesterday I had hit SAVE several times
when the SAVE all of a sudden appeared grayed out and I_ had NOT_
closed the program. That's really scary if I'm right. So now, I"m
constantly checking to see that the SAVE is NOT grayed out.

Reports -> DXCC -> Summary. Select 20 meters only.
