DX4WIN obtains the mode from the comment field in the spot, if it can. I bet
one spot said PSK or the equivalent and the other didn't.

I think you need to read the help some more, especially "Color scheme in DX
Spotting Window"

Subject: [Dx4win] DX4WIN.CTY Release #14 - second notice
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Another round of changes to DX4WIN.CTY is on my web site for review:

  http://www.ad1c.us/dx4win/history.htm#14

Two changes that might affect some people:

ZC4 before 16 August 1960 counts for Cyprus, 5B. Starting 16 August 1960 it
counts as UK Sovereign Bases, ZC4. Release #13 and some earlier versions had a
number of ZC4 callsign exceptions mistakenly mapped to Cyprus, 5B.

Also the Comoro Islands/Mayotte situation was a little mixed up. On July 6
1975, the Comoro Islands declared their independence from France, however
Mayotte did not. Thus Comoro Islands became a deleted country effective July 6,
and two new entities were created: Comoroes (D6) and Mayotte (FH). The primary
database entry for Mayotte did not have any start date, and the FH prefix
before July 6 was mapped to Comoroes, D6, an entity which did not even exist
yet! (It should have been mapped to Comoro Islands, FH/D. I don't think anyone
would have been affected by the mistakes because the FH prefix mapping for
Mayotte kind of hid them in the background. However, after fixing the problem,
a number of unnecessary callsign exceptions went away.

Please review the proposed changes and especially check your logbooks against
Release #13 to find any other mistakes or omissions that I missed.
