Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I'm testing a recently acquired Icom 746 (not PRO) with DX4WIN and haven't been able to establish communications with it. Works fine with N1MM logger and Writelog. Also talks to my SteppIR controller with no problem. Speed is set to 9600 and address is set to 56 (and that's what the 746 address is). I've checked the .ini file and wrote a new .ini file with the changes. Still no luck - always times out when I start the 746 from DX4WIN. I normally use DX4WIN with my 781 over the same hardware and cables and that works just fine. Is there anything peculiar with the 746 that I've overlooked? 73, Floyd - K8AC
