I've been able to find out some more information, thanks to people on this
reflector:

>From my U60UNK QSL card:

"November 7, 1977, marked 60 years of the Great October Socialist Revolution.
This date is an important milestone in the life of Soviet people and the world
liberation movement.

To commemorate the anniversary Soviet amateur radio operators have carried out
DX-pedition <<October-60>>. It began on board fhe [sic] historical cruiser
<<Aurora>> in Leningrad and went through the cities that had been the first to
receive the radio message of the Revolution's victory."

The matrix of callsigns I know about is as follows (hope the tabs come out):

I'm sure there are lots of other callsigns but I can't find any more
information on them. Any help would be appreciated.

Subject: [Dx4win] World Map suggestions
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Some suggestions for the World Map feature of DX4Win (humbly made, of
course)

1) Make the "Find Location on Map" box more easily searchable (type first
letter, or a "search" key, or something like that).

2) Have "US Cities" part of that search list

3) Have the Prefix list more detailed than just a one prefix per country
listing

4) Have Prefixes and IOTA not come into view until a certain zoom level
(same as Cities do)

5) Ability to point and click (or point and right click) to anywhere on the
map and have your antenna rotator turn to that spot.

6) Have all the lists (Prefixes, IOTA, Cities, US Cities) modifiable by an
"Expert User"
