I'm new to DX4WIN and the email list. I've just installed ver 7.01 and I'm having a problem importing my old Log-EQF log. I exported an ADIF file from EQF and imported it into DX4WIN using the ADIF filter in Import. The Q's are all there and the entries in the qso window look OK. The problems are primarily with the QSL status entries and DXCC credits. In EQF, the QSL "received" status is "A" for contacts checked by ARRL & credited. The QSO window shows that it is confirmed, but nothing is shown in the Awards portion of the window. Is there a better way to import an EQF log so that this status is picked-up by DX4WIN? I'd like to avoid having to go thru the log and manually enter the DXCC status.
DX4WIN also has picked up some serial number entries from contest contacts and assumed they are IOTA references. They do not appear in the IOTA box, but only as "errors" in the notes field. The serial numbers were probably entered as part of the signal report (like 599 102). This isn't a big problem now, but I'd like to know how to avoid problems in the future when importing logs from TR-Log. I've been reading the manual but haven't come across any answers yet.
