Some (including me) want the Winkey output to be the ONLY CW output to our rig.
Therefore, we want all (contest) logging programs to support it. For example,
Writelog doesn't support LPT directly, but does support Winkey. CT for Windows
supports LPT keying but NOT COM port keying. I don't want to have to build yet
another interface when I've already spent $200+ on the MicroHam (or fill in
your favorite brand) one.

I don't think it's a major release if i check the changes for the 7.01:

? Interface to MMTTY RTTY software

? Both the packet window and the RTTY windows will keep the focus when double
clicking on a callsign or entering a QSO.

? More modes were added

? Remember position of calendar window

? Cleanup of calendar is done automatically after importing new data

? Option to copy information from CDROM data to QSO Window

? Provide for five custom labels

? Made saving / restoring of label data independent of Windows country settings

? IOTA summary window expanded to show the modes

? County summary window expanded to show the mode

? Added BPSK31 to recognize PSK31 in packet spots

? Added 'Set QRP flag' to multiple QSO operations

? A double click in a summary window on the mode row header or the band column
header will set a filter for the mode or the band only.

? Small adjustments for the determination of a prefix and using the information
from a previous QSO.

? Both the packet window and the RTTY windows will keep the focus when double
clicking on a callsign or entering a QSO

All this points are a major release ?

Sorry for me most points are bug fixing !

No Winkey included, no changes in export (the manager info cant export with
QSO-datas), no IC7800, only 2 banddecoder....

Yes. This is the first major release since March 2003.

Let's give Steve and Paul time to recover from Dayton and set up the process
for doing upgrades. I posted the release notes earlier today:

  http://mailman.qth.net/pipermail/dx4win/2005-May/006654.html

I'm sure they'll post an official announcement with the upgrade pricing soon.

Subject: [Dx4win] 6.02 to 6.04 upgrade problem
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hi !

Being an avid award hunter I compiled a rather extensive dx4win.awd over the
years. Before even thinking of upgrading to version 7.01, I need to see the
following problem resolved:
After installing version 6.04 I copied my dx4win.awd file from 6.02 into the
6.04 save directory. Unfortunately, several awards do not show any
references worked/conifirmed (they do show the records, i.e. for german DOK
they show the svereval hundreds of DOKs but no station is listed) when I
look at a report. However, the QSO entry window indicates the correct award
value.
Am I doing something wrong or what might be the problem ?
Any clues ?
