Is there a way to do a "global" edit to remove all the info in the
"notes" field.
I have 80,000 Q's in my log. Don't think I want to edit them one at a
time..,.

Thanks..

I want to hook up my Signalink SL1+ to my FT-1000MP
and need help. Anyone out there done this? Which
connector on the back of the MP do I use and what is
the wiring scheme? Main interest is running PSK31
with DX4WIN 7.01.

Thanks

Depends on which notes field you mean. In either case, such a global edit
entails exporting the log to DX4WIN6 format, editing the .DXQ (or .DXN) files,
and then importing the resulting file into an empty log (use a different name).

To delete all call notes, export the log, delete the .DXN file, then import the
log again.

To delete all QSO notes, export the log, blank every SECOND line in the .DXQ
file, then import the log again. Its important to maintain the blank lines
where the data you are removing used to be.

Thanks for all the help guys. I saved the file as ADIF and it imported just
fine. (Didn't care about the state info or I would have done the extra
conversion of the file.

Again, thanks.
