I just uploaded a batch of QSO's. It appears that LOTW has
not been updated in a while. Only one of my VU4 contacts is
recognized as Andamans, KH8SI is not recognized as Swains Is
and 4O3T is not recognized as Montenegro. Also, LOTW shows
I have 11,778 QSO's in the database while I show 11,988 in
my DX4Win log! I have no idea where the missing 210 QSO's
are!

I tried to make a new ADIF file of all QSO's for upload but
DX4Win will not allow it. It appears that it will not export
QSO's that have the upload date field populated. I can't find
any way to clear this field and don't know any way to find the
missing QSO's.

LOTW is consuming an enormous amount of time for a rather
miniscule return of confirmations!

I've updated the QSL manager changes for DX4WIN.CTY Release #33:

    http://www.country-files.com/dx4win/history.htm#33

I hope to have a release tonight.

Roger, I can't explain the VU4 problem, but I *can* explain the KH8 and
Montenegro problems.

The ADIF export filter for DX4WIN needs an update for these two entities.

Edit the DX4WIN/IMPORT/ADIF.PMP file using a text editor like NOTEPAD

At the end of the file, add these two lines:

  E6,514
  KH8/S,515

I am assuming that your country file uses the primary prefix "E6" for
Montenegro - if not, use the matching primary prefix!

Then if you can figure out how to re-export, you should be all set.

I'll try to put up an updated ADIF.PMP file tonight, but I'm very busy this
week, and getting the country file out may be all I have time for.

OK I though I understood how to use LOTW but be darned if I can see how you
could tell the when you up loaded KH8SI what country it was showing. The
only calls I see that show the country is the ones that LOTW has confirmed.

I am missing something, please explain.

Subject: [Dx4win] DX4WIN.CTY released - 28 August 2006
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

DX4WCTY was released on 28 August 2006:

        http://www.country-files.com/dx4win/

Please note the new URL. This is what would have been Release #33 -
I'm no longer using the version numbers, but instead using a release
date. Some highlights of the new release:

* Primary prefix for Montenegro is changed to Z7. No official prefix
has been announced,
   this is only a guess

* Spelling of Hawai'i has been changed back to Hawaii

* adif.pmp is included in the .ZIP file - please move this file to
your DX4W###/import directory
to fix the export of Montenegro and Swains Island QSOs

There have been lots of changes in this release as I try to get my
databases into alignment. Please see this reflector message to
compare your previous country file with the new one:

        http://mailman.qth.net/pipermail/dx4win/2006-August/008677.html

Please send me corrections (preferably those confirmed by QSL card),
though I won't have any more time to work on this until late September.
