I'm a satisfied 6.04 user, but pondering upgrading to acquire WinKey
support.

I have a K1EL WinKeyer USB that I use in standalone mode, as well as
during contests with N1MM Logger. It would be convenient to be able
to use the WK-USB for everyday DXing under DX4WIN control. I would
NOT want to have to plug/unplug cables to make the switch from DX4WIN
to N1MM to DX4WIN.

Can anyone confirm that this is possible. (The archives indicate
that DX4WIN will interface with the various microHAM boxes via USB,
but there was nothing definitive with respect to a K1EL WinKeyer
USB.)

Subject: [Dx4win] Compare DX4WIN DXCC to LoTW - Windows GUI test version
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Merry Christmas, everyone.

For the last week I have been trying to teach myself Windows GUI
programming. I just released a test version of a Windows GUI
application for comparing DX4WIN DXCC data to the LoTW Award Credit
Matrix. This is only my second program (first program went through
two major functional re-writes), but my best effort so far.

Please see this web page and look for the BOLD text:

         http://dx4win.ad1c.us/dxcc.htm

"There is a test version of a Windows-GUI version that was last
modified on 24 December 2006. Click on this
<http://dx4win.ad1c.us/dx4wlotw_win.zip>link to download the program."

Extract the DX4WLOTW.EXE file into your DX4WIN directory (same
directory as DX4WIN.EXE).

You still need to create the DX4WIN and LoTW listings yourself, as
described on that web page.

To start the program, double-click the icon. It should be fairly easy to run:

Click on the "CSV" button to navigate to and select the
DX4WIN listing you saved.
Click on the "HTML" button to navigate to and select the
LoTW listing you saved.
Click on "OK" to do the comparison. The results will be
displayed in the window.
Click on "Exit" to exit the program (results will NOT be
saved anywhere).

My next effort (after Christmas!) will be to add a button to print
the results to a printer.

I also need to add some Help text, as well as an installation program.

Please test this on Windows 95/98/ME/NT4/2000/XP and let me know if
and how it works for you. I'm not sure whether the program will work
on Windows 95/98/ME so I need help testing it.
