It works well for me too. I put an entry in my dx4win.tcp file of:
Local>AR-USER,127.0.0.1:7300 I also put a check in the Telnet checkbox on the Logging Program Connection Port Setup in AR User. When DX4Win starts, I right click in the packet window, click on Internet connection, click on the Local entry, and click OK. And, it works. I think one of the issues is getting it all to automatically start up with DX4win. I have not done that. Most of the time I just look at the VE7CC screen. I think it conveys plenty of information itself. I really like the color coding of each band that you can do. 73, Bob W5OV -----Original Message----- From: Tony Lord [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, February 03, 2006 9:20 AM To: '5B4AGC'; 'Jim Reisert AD1C' Cc: [email protected] Subject: RE: [Dx4win] VE7CC - DX4WIN George, Don't give up. I use DX4WIN 7 and VE7CC. I have maybe missed the whole thread, but are you just tring to use VE7CC from with DX4WIN? That's what I do. However I have to start both programs seperatly. If it's a simple matter of making VE7CC spots appear within DX4WIN, let me know I'll tell u how. But as I said I have not read all the thread so maybe I missed the point?? 73's de Tony G8DQZ -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of 5B4AGC Sent: 03 February 2006 08:03 To: Jim Reisert AD1C Cc: [email protected] Subject: [Dx4win] VE7CC - DX4WIN OK I gave up! Whatever combination I tried they would never talk to each other. I have gone back to DX4WIN - DXTelnet and it works perfectly. Just one "hotKey" and everything is go. Maybe when I get to Windows Vista and DX4WIN version 8 I'll give it another try. My thanks to everyone who tried to help and offered suggestions.
