Cliff: To answer your question, I just printed a test QSL label along with the QSL manager address. I had no problem printing both. I used W3HNK as the test QSL manager and his address printed out right behind the QSL label!

I tried using an Avery Personal Label Printer with DX4WIN. I created a custom label after a little experimenting, but it would only print one label at a time, not multiple labels. And I couldn't get DX4WIN to print the manager addresses at the same time as the QSO labels, like it does on 8.5 x 11 inch label paper. I returned the Avery, but I'm still interested. I don't know why the Avery wouldn't print multiple labels, but I'm pleased to hear you can do that with the Dymo 330. Did you have trouble getting DX4WIN to print QSL manager addresses at the same time as you print the QSO labels? That seems to be a problem with the Avery. Or do you just prefer to print them from QRZ? I really like the convenience of printing both the QSO and manager labels from DX4WIN, like I do with the 30 label sheets, but I sure couldn't find a way to get the Avery to do it. One last question - what size label do you use? My QSL cards use 1 x 2 5/8 inch labels, and I haven't seen that size available for the Dymo. Thanks for any help you can give. 73, Cliff K0CA -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Dave Perry Sent: Friday, January 27, 2006 6:57 PM To: Jim Reisert AD1C Cc: DX4win Subject: Re: [Dx4win] Dymo LabelWriter 310 Jim: I have been using a Dymo 330 with DX4WIN for about a year now. It works great. I had to create a custom label within DX4WIN, which took about an hour (although I was totally inexperienced in working with custom labels). Once I had the custom label setup right, it has worked perfectly since then -- printing single labels or multiple labels as needed. I can also easily cut and paste addresses from QRZ.com into the Labelwriter software, and with one or two clicks, print out address labels. In fact, I have a routine down now that allows me to first print the QSL label from within DX4WIN, print the mailing address from QRZ.com and then also print 2 return address labels. Takes a few clicks and all four labels are ready for me to apply. It works best when you only have one QSL to print out and send, although I use it for printing batches of bureau replies as well with no problem. If you do not have the CD for installing the print driver, you can go to www.dymo.com to download all drivers. I had to do that once at my office.
