If you open the folder that you downloaded the install program into, and hover
your mouse over the DX4W702.EXE icon, you will see the build number. The same
works for the DX4WIN.EXE file.

Subject: [Dx4win] Error connecting to radio
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

When switching to radio 2 I get the following error:
"ie_BadId-Specified comport doesn't exist"
This is curious because it sort of works in that the log shows the band
radio 2 is on, but if I click on a spot I do get an error that the port
is in use by something else. When I bring up V7.01 it works just fine.

Setup:
Win XP Pro
Port in question COM3 via a USB->Serial converter
DX4WIN 7.02 Build 14
Ram 512MB
Processor AMD Athlon 3000
Radio 1 FT-1000MP on COM2
Radio 2 FT-897 on COM3
The port shows in the Device Manager and remains as COM3 when I plug it
into a different USB port (it drops of the Device Manager list when I
unplug it and then reappears when I plug it into a different USB port).

Suggestions please.
