Subject: [Dx4win] EZ-Master & DX4WIN
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hi out there!

I have been testing EZ-MASTER with Wintest during the las CQWW.
It worked flawlessly. Very nice.

What I couldn't do is to connect EZ-MASTER with DX4WIN until today.

If someone of you are having problems to connect them, BE SURE that you are
using NULL MODEM cable between COM port on EZ-Master and your computer.
There is NO explanation of this in the manual, therefore you can loose a lot
of time trying to connect this fine software with the also fine EZ-Master.

Other mistake in the manual is: The "KEYER" jack MUST BE stereo and not
MONO as the manual reads.

The reason of this message is to help that people trying to work with these
SUPERB devices.

Just received a microHAM USB interface. The cable for my
'756 PROII is beautifully built and the package works well.

About the on-the-CD manual ... in my case, anyway ... it assumes
that the user knows more than I do about device and computer
interfacing. I had to thrash abound a bit to get it working. (:-))
