The latest router software (4.0.5) works fine, has no bearing on the problem, which I had when running the old version (3.1.6?). I will look into uninstalling that Microsoft "fix". 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, http://www.ad1c.us From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Oct 25 19:42:46 2006 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Rick Murphy) Date: Wed Oct 25 19:49:17 2006 Subject: [Dx4win] CW Announce? No, in 7.02 the CW announce still comes through the internal computer speaker (at least for me.) -Rick -- Rick Murphy, CISSP-ISSAP, K1MU/4, Annandale VA USA From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Oct 25 19:45:08 2006 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Rick Murphy) Date: Wed Oct 25 19:51:45 2006 Subject: [Dx4win] RE: Orion II with dx4win and also comportproblems!!!! This update is a security update to verify COM Automation > type of objects. COM has nothing to do with COM *ports*. COM is an acronym for "Common Object Model". DX4WIN's problems with unresponsive COM ports hasn't anything to do with this patch. -Rick -- Rick Murphy, CISSP-ISSAP, K1MU/4, Annandale VA USA From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Oct 25 20:41:23 2006 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Jim Reisert AD1C) Date: Wed Oct 25 20:47:55 2006 Subject: [Dx4win] Re: dx4win polling rate In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --- n4dsp <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I set mine to 5000ms as dx4win recommends.
