Hi Steve,
I have the FT-2000, direct serial connection to Com1 and also see
problems especially with spots with split frequencies. However since
upgrading to 7.03.16 I also have issues with my Kenwood TS-950SDX that
were not there in 7.02. I can go back and forth between the two
versions and 7.02 always works correctly and 7.03 never does.
Paul is looking into this and I have to admit till I read this I
hadn't thought to go bacl to 7.02 and try the latest rig file with it
to see if the issue is the rig file or the DX4Win version. Maybe I'll
try that this afternoon.
If you have 7.02 still installed (I always keep the last version in a
separate directory) you might want to give that a try to see if it is
different in the older version...
I will post what I find - if you get a chance to do that I'd be
interested in hearing what changes if anything.

Subject: [Dx4win] ***Information Scramble DX Cluster FIX***
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Hello All:
I would like to thank Erkki Heikkinen, of Finland OH2BF for a suggestion to
my information scramble presentation issue.
The problem was evident while using DX4W but is not a problem with DX4W. The
fix is a setting on the DX Cluster.
"UNSET/ECHO".
This is what I saw:
Freq Call Sign Time QSX Remarks
Spotter Date
14,350.0 KB3OOO 19:21 TEST SPOTDX de KB3OOO: 14350.0
07/20/07
All I typed was "TEST SPOT" as an announcement.
One command later, the issue is solved, the announce DX now presents
properly for my spots.
Many thanks to all who took the time to suggest a remedy and most of all to
Erkki, OH2BF for the winning fix.

Does the latest version of DX4WIN have capability for IC7000?
I have 7.01 and that version does not.
