The GOLIST is still around!
http://www.golist.net/
And it works well with DX4WIN.

Subject: [Dx4win] Able to duplicate country editor problem!
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Hi Folks,
I was able to duplicate the problem with adding FJ to the country database:
- I started with the 11 December 2007 country file release
- I followed the steps in the application note I wrote:
http://dx4win.ad1c.us/appnotes/entity.htm
- After saving the country file changes, I opened my log, and sure enough, all
QSOs with "K" had been changed to "JZ0"
*** But at this point I did NOT save my log!
- I then exited DX4WIN completely and restarted the program.
This time, all my USA QSOs were correctly logged with the "K" prefix, and all
states were left in-tact.
The bottom line is, that after editing the country file and saving the changes,
you MUST exit DX4WIN complete and restart it. If you open your log immediately
after saving the updated country file, without exiting/restarting, your logbook
will be corrupt, and if you SAVE this corrupt log, you will potentially lose
data, like US states.
I hope Paul can duplicate the problem and find a fix!
