Subject: [Dx4win] DX4 or computer?
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hi, here's a good one..
I made a batch file on C:\ the hard drive, to backup my save file onto a CD.
Every thing seemed FB.
Here's the thing, if I start or install the backup CD when DX4 is running,
the CD log takes over and added QSO's go to the CD, not the HD? Then when I
exit the added QSO are saved to CD automatic, and not the HD.
So if I didn't catch this I may loose QSO'S???
QSO's getting separated some went to CD some on HD depending if CD is
installed
Also, when I do a backup, when I restart DX4 it can't find my log, it looks
on the E:\, not the HD.
I have to manually open it from file, open.
So Question is how to get DX4 to stay with the loaded program off the HD and
not look for the CD drive to save when exiting, or running the software. My
computer is running XP, and Ver 5.03.
CD problem, my batch file is wrong, or DX4 doesn't like it?
What I'm doing now is to install the CD and run for backup it after DX4 is
shut down, BUT when I restart DX4 after saving logo in the CD, DX4 looks to
the CD to start my log on E:\ drive which it don't find so I have to go to
file and manually open my log.Hope this makes some sense, hi hi.

Thanks for reading.
