Hi all, For CW use, I'd like to connect, via an interface, my DX4WIN ver 702.15 in Toshiba notebook to straight CW key jack in the rear of Icom IC-746 Pro.
With simple interface circuit as written in its Help file, my DX4WIN worked okay in these years with my vintage FT1000MP for CW. But, with the Icom, it only produces 'dah'. My notebook is running XP and has only one parallel/LPT port to use. Please help. Has anyone managed to disguise/legitimatize e.QSL's and use them for credit via LoTW by importing them into their logging program and then into a LoTW submission? I --DO NOT-- approve of this or would never consider doing so, but others may view it differently. I know the League has gone to considerable length to avoid accepting e.QSL's, but ... sadly... I don't see any way of preventing it from happening, once the QSO/QSO's are imported into your log, regardless of which program you're using. 73!
