Hi Henrik, I have done this for the PSK31 window and all ok here. It does not matter what you call the file as long as you "point" to the right file name in function key text. Eg. my "brag" file is called "name". The file extension in the save directory is then "name.txt" In the function key text you should point to this file by adding : %fname% Regards Trond , LA1TV Henrik Kl?ver M?ller <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> skrev: Hi Guy No! Frankly, I'm not interested in spending the time receiving the sending station's dog's DNA, the size of their computer's hard disk, how much RAM it has etc. The small segments that digital modes reside in don't need this kind of additional QRM. Seriously. There seems to be no consideration given to the speed of transmission of RTTY and PSK31. They are slow speed modes. I get the impression that many of the recent converts to RTTY and PSK31 bring along their PACTOR brag files without thinking of the impact. I do have an answer to those who insist in sending me such longwinded files. I have a brag file which contains the value of PI to 10,000 digits. I start it in return...... 73 de Brian/K3KO Henrik Kl?ver M?ller wrote: > Hi > > Have a file in SAVE dir: name.txt, but I receive a popup with info: File > to send not found > "C:/programmer/dx4w702/SAVE/name.txt" > I know for sure that the file is in the SAVE dir - what have I overlooked?? > > 73 de OZ6TL - Henrik > > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > OZ6TL - Henrik K. Although I do very little casual RTTY, and none of it with DX4WIN, I couldn't agree more! Even in my casual operation, RST, Name, and QTH is enough for me? I will be adding two more features: Support for *all* DX4WIN bands (right now only up through 2 meters is supported). Only accept QSOs made in a given calendar year. I will add a drop-down box for the year into the program. Thus you can be lazy and just export your entire log (without creating a date filter first) and the program will use only QSOs made in the selected year. I'll release an updated version some time this weekend. 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford, MA 01863 USA +978-251-9933, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, http://www.ad1c.us From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Jan 5 19:16:17 2007 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (George) Date: Fri Jan 5 19:22:08 2007 Subject: [Dx4win] WHAT_DID_SCREW_UP_NOW? Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I took a look at my log today and just noticed that ALL the QSO's "QSL DATE" had the date of 01/02/2007??? I use this entry to keep track of when I send QSL's out. What did I do to screw up this date? Why did DX4WIN populate this date in all my QSO's. Lucky I had a backup that was only a week old and I used this and added the 10 missing QSO's. I was screwing around with trying to make labels around that time! Did I do something to deserve this? How did I accomplish this without knowing what I did? Thanks.
