I think you're referring to the page I mentioned above, Erkki. If so, uppercase characters A thru Z are used as control characters when preceded by the percent sign. But the help file only tells us what the functions %M, %C, and %X are, with no mention of what the other 23 characters do. It looks like an uppercase character has a different purpose than a lowercase character: %x is the date, %X keys the radio. Mark AA8TC
