I just got a 756proIII. I've installed it into DX4win using the default
address (6E), a baudrate of 9600, COM5 (which is where my radio put the
USB interface cable), a poll rate of 5000ms, max tries of 6. I've also
set the radio up for a couple of other programs - N1MM logger, and Ham
Radio Deluxe (a really nifty program that controls practically every
imaginable parameter on the radio). The other 2 programs work fine, but
DX4Win exhibits some weird behaviors, at least in 7.02.15 which is the
version I'm running. When I click the Radio/Set frequency command it
will correctly read the frequency, but if I change frequency on the
radio it isn't picked up by the program (as it is in the other 2
programs I mentioned), and the "read" frequency often changes to
something bizarre if I click the "read" button in the window or if I try
to enter real-time logging using the F9 key. As I've been typing this
message I've seen the "main frequency" change multiple times, to
10.133.00 (where the radio is set), to 1013,300.00, and also to
475,416.56 with no input from me at all and no movement of the mouse. It
cycles through these 3 readings, seemingly at random, about every 10-15
seconds or so. What's wrong, and what do I need to do different? As I
said, it works fine in both of those other programs using the same
address and baud rate.

Subject: [Dx4win] Submission vs Logbook File Reports
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Tried to generate a 160m (only) DXCC Submission report and it's working OK,
now. But, in the file, some older (and confirmed) QSOs are not listed
chronologically as they are in the Logbook report.

Instead of putting earlier confirmed station/QSOs dates/years, I wonder why
the software chooses to put different stations -in the same DXCC country- in
a later confirmed QSOs' dates/years for its Submission report? I am using
v7.03.16

Any helps would be much appreciated. Tnx es 73 de Jo, YC0LOW
