Unless the calls overlap, I find that Filter -> Selection (by date) allows me
to separate out these QSOs more simply than group filters. If you assign a
group number to each call, you will still need to create a Filter -> Selection
(by group) to see award status for a particular call (group). By creating a
Filter -> Selection by date (where the start and end dates correspond to the
active dates of those calls), you are saving one level of lookup. Furthermore,
if you are required to assign a group number to separate callsigns, you can't
assign a second group number to sub-divide those QSOs.

I personally use group numbers to separate contest logs, nothing else.

Subject: [Dx4win] St. Martin und St. Barthelemy Soon Separate DXCC Entities?
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hi there,
Did anyone hear anything about St. Martin und St. Barthelemy (FS und FJ)
becoming separate DXCC soon?

Administrative separation from Guadeloupe will be in force in early July thus
probably entitling St. Barth to become a new entity separate from St. Martin.

Any news about this topic?
