I still haven't decided what to do about this. The issue is for people who only want to track "Classic" DOK:
http://www.darc.de/diplome/dld_dl.htm (see #5) I assume that by including the SDOKs, the "needed listing" gets very large for people who don't track them. My current thinking is to leave the awards file the way it is. If you don't want the SDOKs included, then you can edit them out of dx4win.awd using a text editor. *OR* I can release two versions of the award file, one with SDOKs included, the other without. Since they will have different names, you will have to copy and rename the file to DX4WIN.AWD. Please let me know. 73 - Jim AD1C --- Jim Reisert AD1C <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I'd like to change the DOK award in DX4WIN: > > Release 1.9 - 26 April 2007 > [DOK] Added special DOK (SDOK) designators > > I would like to split this into two different awards: > > DOK - has only regular DOKs (Ann-Znn) > > SDOK - has only special DOKs, see: > http://www.darc.de/qsl-buero/sdok/pdf/SDOK_List.csv > > Does anyone have a problem with this? Recently, every now and then I will come back to my PC where I have left DX4WIN running with Packet Telnet connected and I will observe the following. All DX4WIN windows that are opened have gone blank (white) and the title bars are all appended with "(Not Responding)". My PC's CPU is being 100% utilized and when I look at the Windows task manager, it shows that DX4WIN is the culprit sitting at 99%. I have to kill the DX4WIN process to relieve my PC. The only other things running on the PC at the time are MS Outlook express listening for e-mail and Norton Internet Security. These have not been recently added and have always been running fine with DX4WIN. The only thing I do is keep current with Windows Updates and Norton Updates. I did recently update the DX4WIN country file, but I can't imagine that causing this. Anyone seen this, have any ideas on how to troubleshoot? 73 - Tom, W2EQ From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Nov 22 08:40:35 2007 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Jerry K8RA) Date: Thu Nov 22 08:50:19 2007 Subject: [Dx4win] Re: Dx4win Digest, Vol 43, Issue 16 References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Tom... I suggest you go to Windows Programs under the START button and then to accessories and then to tools. In tools, you will find a command for system restore. You can go to an earlier version of your Windows Operating System. That might do it.
