At home, I save-as my current DX4WIN file as call plus the date
(month-day-year or it won't sort right). Then save-as to the USB flash
drive, take to work and save-as to the network drive, which is backed
up. Because of the date in the file name, I can easily tell which is
the latest version. So the older ones are backups too.

When using a laptop for portable, I just save-as the latest version
from the flash drive. If printing labels at work, or uploading to LOTW,
the new file gets a later date or even an additional letter after the
date. Otherwise I can't tell if I was using the current file or not.

I have DX4WIN files for both OM Paul K9OT and me plus our FP files, for
a total of four. Dating them helps a lot.

Hallo Rien,

Paul, KK4HD, one of the program authors, is Dutch, but he's usually very busy.
If you have a few specific questions, try sending them to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Subject: [Dx4win] DX4WIN.CTY #42 released 5 September 2007
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

DX4WIN.CTY Release #42 is now available from:

        http://www.country-files.com/dx4win/

Please see the revision history to see what's new/changed in this version:

        http://www.country-files.com/dx4win/history.htm#42

The prefix for Bosnia & Herzegovina changed to E7. This change is
incompatible with the current version of the DXCC to LoTW comparison
program - I'll fix that when I get a chance.

It's critical that you copy both the DX4WIN.CTY and ADIF.PMP files to
their respective directories (because of the above-mentioned prefix
change). Follow the installation instructions at the first URL, or
in the release.txt file.
