The modes, that I'm questioning, were not PACTOR. They were substituted for CW, and RTTY? Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> OK, I will start this by admitting to being a bit of a numbskull. Having just had a major submission move on by ARRL, I adjusted my log to accept the credits, and have spent AN AGE trying to get the 2 sets of data to match ! I nearly got there; but not quite - 1 mismatch. I am glad I actually checked the ARRL entered data, since there were mistakes made, that needed correcting So, I thought "what's all the checking utility stuff anyway?" (Bob Pease expression; if you never saw the articles and his words of wisdom; worth looking up). The utility is very easy to use; followed the instruction to the letter; found my problem in minutes !!! It did complain at the exception , FJ, by the way, but it didn't affect the operation. Thanks a lot, Jim, I guess it wouldn't have been written if it wasn't going to be useful !!! 73 Dave G3NKC
