Hi Marcelo, You are not the first to have this problem. Something is wrong on the ARRL server.
Maybe Paul can put in a work-around in the next version. 73 - Jim AD1C --- [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > I?ve found a unusual behavior in DX4WIN LoTW import. > > For some reason, I have some 5.000 QSOs in LoTW that are marked as <PHONE> in > the mode. > (They are from a WPX contest my computer went dead, and I logged per hand... > later on I used a software called cabrillotools to generate the log). > > LoTW treats these QSOs normally, and issues credits correctly. I used a cabrillo file from a contest to generate the file to upload. Well the cabrillo file had as mode PHONE. So this followed all the way through and was accepted by LOTW. When I did the report of course it came back as PHONE versus in DX4WIN I had those QSO properly identified as SSB. I had to export that group of Q's from DX4WIN, do the TQSL thing and then upload to LOTW server. Now maybe LOTW should not accept contacts sent in that list the mode as PHONE. For now LOTW considers PHONE any of the possible PHONE modes and it will match to contacts from other people listing SSB, FM, AM, etc at the mode. Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Hi all, I keep seperate logs for different calls i use or have used in the past. I assigned a different group number to each one of them for the well know reasons. Now when i merge two logs i notice the "VALID DX" box changes all merged records into "INVALID". This means when a QSO from the merged log is a new worked DXCC it does not show in my DXCC records. Why does it change the original setting ? Is there a way to keep the setting the same even after the merge ? Am i overlooking something ? Do i need to modify the filter ? Is it a bug ? Any help or suggestions are most welcome ! Tks, es cul de ON4ATW Theo. [EMAIL PROTECTED]
