My OM has been using the FT-9000 rig file to control his FT-450. This setting allowed the program to read band/mode info correctly from the radio but would write only the band info. On Paul's suggestion we made one change in the rig file to see if that would correct this flaw. It didn't. When I undid the change, the situation was worse than when I started. Now the program won't recognize there is a rig at all, let alone do any read/writes.
Using another logging program with its own FT-9000 driver, things work okay, so the problem lies somewhere in the FT-9000 rig file in DX4WIN. I know, I know, I should have made a backup copy of the original rig file before messing with it -- but changing one parameter and then changing it back seemed like such a benign thing to do. Not. Is there somewhere I can download a clean copy of the FT-9000 rig file so I can at least get my OM back to the works-kinda-sorta status he had before? Thanks! 73 - Kay N3KN _______________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win
