Again, for everybodys' information, I am using FT-9000 V31. Under
preferences, baud rate is 4800, poll rate 5000, DTR and CTS both checked.
The FT-950 is working except for the panorama function. Spots go to the
radio properly when the spot is clicked on in the spot window (including
split freq spots), and the progran reads the freq properly from the radio
and puts it into the logbook.
Sending spots also seems OK.
The problem with the panorama function is the "S meter is "pegged at max" as
the freq is scanned. When a signal is received. the display s meter reading
"dips"according to the strength of the signal.

HRD rig control program and haven't tried it yet. 4800 baud rate is on the
program and the rig so that should be ok. I'll check the RTS and DTS boxes

You sure the baud rate is correct? I think think default for Yaesu is
4800 baud, if DX4WIN doesn't match, you'll have to uncheck the default
box and put in 4800. Also play around with the RTS and DTR check boxes.
Someone on the reflector says 950 mostly works, you can check the
archives.
Does the radio work with any other program?

No spots or anything. I also tried the FT 2000 and also nothing. I did try
the Yaesu FT 2000 rig control software and that works somewhat but after
about 10 minutes it looses commication between the radio and computer. Oh
well I'll keep trying and see what happens. Thanks for yur help on this.
