Karl, You can look-up any static IP address by using the 'nslookup' command. However it must be executed in the command mode. If your running MS XP, go to START then RUN and then type in "command". Once you get a DOS screen, type in
nslookup ve7cc.net and it should return with the IP address which is 70.69.35.180 This won't work with dynamic IP addresses, only the static type. However, should VE7CC ever change its IP address in the future you won't connect using 70.69.35.180 and you will have to run nslookup again to get the new static IP address. To exit the DOS mode just type in 'exit' at the DOS command prompt. 73..de John/K4WJ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Karl Oyster" <[email protected]> To: "DX4WIN" <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, March 09, 2009 9:06 AM Subject: [Dx4win] Address for VE7CC node > Hi, > > Several months ago somebody provided the internet numerical > address for the VE7CC node.
