It is a rather minor point, but the choice of the asterisk to denote a credited entity in the DX4WIN reports is a most unfortunate one for those of us who want to export the reports to a comma-delimited format and manipulate them in Excel. It seems Excel sees the asterisk as a "wild card" character, and all kinds of weird things can happen when putting the character into formulas, etc. I've had to make it a routine practice to first open the report.csv file in WordPad, do a search and replace to change the asterisk into something more Excel-friendly, such as X, and re-save the file before it's ready for Excel. It would be nice if there were some other choice than the asterisk, hard-coded or not. 73...
