I'm getting a new transceiver that isn't supported by DX4WIN 6.04 that I've been using for years, so I ordered the latest version.
Installation and setup took next to no time at all, including merging the .ini file from 6.04 and copying my logs and customized report, .tcp, and label files over to the new subdirectory. I mention this because it's such a contrast to my experience in installing and setting up some other programs related to ham radio, especially some of the arcane stuff my OM finds and wants to use. By the time I get these half-baked programs up and running, I have a blinding headache and have blistered the air with every cuss-word in the English language. And I'm reasonably good with a PC. So ... thanks to Paul and also to Jim and Guy for what you guys do. Thanks to you, I have the new DX4WIN version all ready to go without any drama. Now I can concentrate on watching the driveway for the UPS truck to arrive with my new toy on board. 73 - Kay N3KN ______________________________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
