One more thing I forgot to add to my wish list.
Similarly to the pull down tab to choose the radio you want to choose to operate, another pull down tab for the rotors will be suberb. This way you can interface various rotors to separate com ports and you choose the rotor that you want to control via a pull down tab click Ok, now I can pinch myself and wake up from my day dream. 73 Saad N5FF -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Saad Mahaini Sent: Wednesday, May 27, 2009 1:56 PM To: 'Neal Campbell'; [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Dx4win] Radio Support What will be really nice is to have a pull down menu on the main screen where you can choose a radio on the fly, while you can specify multiple radios in the program setting as to what radio is hooked up to what serial port, etc. This will enable the DX4WIN to work with more than the two radios limit currently supported. Maybe keep the two radio support for SO2R functionality but be able to choose any one from a pool of radios that can be connected to the computer at the same time and switch between them with a click. Some of us suffer from a severe case of an incurable radio disease that manifests itself by having more (a lot more) than two radios in the shack and with the current DX4WIN structure, you can only interface two. Did I mention that it will also be nice to make DX4WIN support more Com ports than just 1 thru 8. 73 Saad N5FF -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Neal Campbell Sent: Wednesday, May 27, 2009 1:38 PM To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Dx4win] Radio Support It would be a godsend if Paul would add the extra cat commands for the multiple rxs of the 5000 and the full-duplex mode but until then you always have the ts-2000 emulation (I have used it with my 5000 and it works fine!).
