Hi folks, I realize this has nothing to do with DX4WIN, but it's driving me nuts (short trip that it is) and I don't know of anywhere else where there's the combined amount of computer smarts as there is here.
Here's the situation: I don't like to have icons up on the computer when I look at a folder --- I'm a word guy, not a picture guy --- so I have tried, any number of times, to reset all the folders to show "details" instead. I followed directions I got somewhere but they don't seem to work. If you can set me right on this, please contact me off line. Here's what I did: open file > open TOOLS > open Folder Options > open View > open Folders View > click on "Apply to all folders" > click on "yes" to set all folders to the way this one is set > click on "OK" And then the icons still come up when I open the folders. Thanks, and my apologies again for using this reflector to ask the question.... 73, Karl, K1KO ______________________________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
