Hi,
I just upgraded from Ver 5.02 to 8.01. All went reasonably
well with just a little tweaking to get the old and new records to agree
in DXCC and WAZ. However two issues remain. I upgraded to get rid of
the "dot" in the report printout and that was a success.
I do have a new problem in the report printout that I have not
resolved. If I do a report of a single band needed for instance 20
meters it correctly indicates the 5 that I do need there. In addition
to those it shows 9 that I have and also have been credited for 20
meters. These 9 show in the correct order in the 20 meter column with
an asterisk. I have been unable to figure out how to eliminate these
errors nor do I know why they are there in the first place. What are
they trying to tell me?
The second item is not an issue to me but might be to others.
I do not use LOTW, never have in any way. In checking for my summary
errors I noticed that with quite a few older contacts they show in LOTW
as uploaded. What is also interesting is that the upload dates range
from 1912 to 2068. If it were an issue I can delete them but for now it
is a "don't care". Maybe a psychic feature in the new version.
Anybody else see these or is it something I may have done.
