OK Oms, I follow. What I have done is test both the 2n2222 based interface and straight sending via the sound card - the default installation config.
In both cases cannot replicate what you see BUT a suggestion:- In earlier versions on older machines where the computer is also doing something else the CW can be affected by load on the processor - either stopping / pausing or appearing to join letters with no space (perhaps the way the buffering is effected). Maybe you could observe what your system is doing at the time you see the loss of the space?
