As one might expect, this was cockpit error. On version 7, I had part of the world map window covering the scroll bars on the packet window, so thinking the packet window in version 8 was the "same size" was wrong. Just a suggestion Steve. As you have to re-arrange windows to take advantage of the new bandmap. If screen real-estate is tight you can minimize the packet window after you connect since all the useful data appears in the Spot or Announcement window.
