This is actually carried forward from V7. I think it was a "feature" intended to help... but it creates a problem.
Alt-R "Center Radio" is an important command to center a signal in the radio passband. However, it also resets the mode to USB causing the data mode to be switched off. This is a BIG pain in the... neck ;-) Is there something we can do in the Rig File? I don't think so... but... Otherwise... could Paul please remove this unnecessary and troublesome mode set command.
