Mel, Search for import: (with a colon) in the notes for the QSO (or <> )
There will be entries like State<> VA; indicating that the state in the QSO, MD for example, did not match the value found in the ADIF file (VA) I will be happy to fix the help if I knew how. Its unclear what is happening and debugging did not help, because the calls I make return the same value(s) whether the help is shown or not.
