It might be a good time to mention another security issue. I strongly recommend that you DON'T configure windows to install security updates automatically. The safest solution is to configure Windows to download the fixes and notify you. Otherwise, Windows can restart the machine unexpectedly (typically overnight) which can cause issues with DX4Win if you are not careful.
