Yes, indeed I am running DX4WIN as administrator all the time. I guess the big issue is that the sondcard0, 1, 2.. is good for Windows XP but not for Vista. Vista applications must choose specific inputs/outputs and not soundcards. Just as an exemple, I have moved MMTY from XP to Vista as well. In the new MMTY version that supports soundcard correctly on Vista, you can choose the input sound source and the output you use. MMTY works perfectly. I guess DX4WIN would need to do the same thing. If there is not any fix or the due implementation on the newer version, it is likely PSK window will not work correct in a given hardware. This is a shame because I like DX4WIN so much. Whether we like or not DX4WIN must keep up with the current windows versions or it will be outdated soon. I still have a hope there is a fix or a work around.
