Start VE7CC. Go into the "Configuration" menu and pick "Ports/Logging Program". On the Port Setup in the middle column, you'll see a box labeled "Logging Program Connection". Make sure that "Enable Telnet" is checked, and that "Use Port 7300" is checked. In DX4WIN, Preferences/Packet 1. "COM Port" should read "TCP/IP". Then, in the DX4WIN Packet window, right click and choose "Internet Connection". Scroll down to the "LOCAL>CC User, localhost:7300" and double click that. That should connect you up. When you double click an entry, it becomes the default so in the future you can connect by opening the packet window and hitting Enter a few times. Jim, shouldn't there be an app note for this? (Or is there one that I missed?) It's a pretty frequent question. 73, -Rick -- Rick Murphy, CISSP-ISSAP, K1MU/4, Annandale VA USA ______________________________________________________________ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
