He mentioned he had a multiple operating positions (with multiple copies 
of the log). This would necessitate that the sync only be done when all 
copies of DX4Win are closed. From my own experience, I have 
inadvertently left DX4Win running on many occasions... which is why I 
have had to disable Windows from installing updates unattended. I do, of 
course, use a UPS.
