Even with (what I think are) all the correct settings, I don't seem to be able to get V8.02 to recognize my FT-2000. I am using a straight through DB9 to DB9 cable and I know the cable and computer port are okay because N1MM reads the radio just fine. When I open the Database, Radio test window I don't see any data being exchanged with the radio -- which suggests a problem with setup. I have used DX4WIN for years with my FT-1000MP MK V's but the program is not recognizing the FT-2000. If someone with an FT-2000 could tell me what they have in the <Radio> setup panel for <Preferences> and what FT-2000 menu settings you are using for items 29 to 31 (that control the CAT interface) I would certainly appreciate the help. 73 de Paul, VE7BZ
